José Cabral is a Career Consultant with the Ted Rogers School of Management, Ryerson University, where he coaches undergraduate students on their transition from the Human Resources Management and Global Management Studies programs into the workforce.
Prior to Ryerson, he was with Employment Ontario services providers, such as ACCES Employment and Dixon Hall Employment Services. He has 20+ years’ multinational experience in the Information Technology Industry, including Business Analyst, Project Manager and Consultant roles with IBM, Xerox, and EMC.
Mr. Cabral is a volunteer with the West Neighbourhood House (formerly St. Christopher’s House), a member of the Education Committee of the Brazil-Canada Chamber of Commerce, the HRPA Toronto Student Affairs Committee and a mentor with Hispano Tech/TRIEC and Ten Thousand Coffees.
His interests include Youth Empowerment and Leadership Development, diversity, inclusion, big data, artificial intelligence, wine, coffee, Fado, soccer, especially the Toronto Football Club (TFC) games, Formula 1 and scuba diving.
Fun fact: He has dived with the Great White sharks in South Africa.
