Ana Maria is a seasoned philanthropic executive with 15 years of diverse leadership experience in the charitable and not-for-profit sector and is passionate about facilitating change, building capacity, and delivering results. She is currently the Vice President, National Development at Easter Seals Canada, a national organization serving Canadians living with varying disabilities. Previously, Ana Maria has been inspiring philanthropic support for student scholarships and financial aid, musical arts, and literacy programs in Canada. She also has 10 years of experience working in government and the corporate sector leading communication and marketing initiatives. She holds an honours degree in Political Science and Economics and additional studies in Anthropology and French linguistics from the University of Toronto. Married, mother of one, and an active member in her community. Ana Maria was born in Toronto and is very proud of her Portuguese heritage.
