Paulo Rocha - FPCBP Vice President

Paulo Rocha is first and for most a proud father to his amazing daughter Melaina. He is also an entrepreneur and a Senior Mortgage Agent with Mortgage Scout Inc. His passion for excellence and dedication to his clients are the pillars of his 30+ year banking career. Paulo started part time in the banking industry in 1990 while he was at York University studying Accounting and Economics. Since then Paulo has had the privilege of working with Canada’s most trusted financial institutions, including RBC, TD Canada Trust, Scotiabank, CIBC and Edward Jones.

Paulo’s strong entrepreneurial spirit led him to establish several successful businesses. Together with his partner he started one of Toronto’s most successful translation agencies, establishing contracts with clients such as, Elections Canada, Toronto Tourism, and Chubb. In 2011 Paulo’s translation agency was awarded the Elections Canada translation contract, being responsible to translate most of Election Canada’s print and radio material into 55 languages.

In 2007 Paulo set his visions across the Atlantic and headed to Portugal where he spent 6 years. While in Portugal, Paulo established one of Porto’s most recognized Office Centre’s. Paulo’s Office Centre provided small to medium sized business, executive level office spaces, including meeting and conference rooms as well as a full suite of administrative, and technology support.

Paulo has an addiction to Technology. Paulo has spent several sleepless nights learning to code and setup high level telephone, web and mail servers. While his age may no longer afford him the opportunity to pull of all nighters coding (thank God), his passion for everything Tech is unscathed.  In 2007 Paulo gave life to an other of his dreams and launched ezoNetworks in Portugal. At the height of his Portugal journey Paulo & his dream ezoNetworks tallied 50+ clients. Paulo continued his ezoNetworks dream when he returned to Canada and has continued his success.

In his spare time Paulo likes to go hiking, camping and canoeing in what he likes to call “Home”, Algonquin Park. Here, he has the opportunity to recharge, while watching the birth of clouds, and listen to the haunting sounds of loons and wolves.
