Kim Ferreira is the son of two Portuguese immigrant parents, who arrived in Canada in the late 70s. Kim is proud of his Portuguese heritage and has returned to his native Portugal on a number of occasions to understand his cultural heritage.
Kim is a graduate of Osgoode Hall Law School and has been practicing law in the GTA since 2005. As a lawyer, Kim is an experienced litigator with a diverse commercial litigation practice. Kim tackles each case with a business focused and commonsense approach. He has a wide-ranging litigation practice that includes experience with construction matters, shareholder disputes, oppressions claims, bankruptcy and insolvency litigation, employment disputes, professional liability claims, and enforcement of creditor rights.
Kim recently began practicing in Mississauga and has made a consisstent effort to focus his legal practice on providing legal representation to Portuguese businesses and individuals. In furtherance of this initiative, Kim, in the fall of 2015, joined the board of directors of the Federation of Portuguese Canadian Business and Professionals to meet likeminded individuals seeking to help Portuguese businesses, professionals and individuals.
