As part of the RESourceEU Action Plan launched in December 2025, the EU is introducing a new Raw Materials Mechanism. This initiative is designed to help companies secure supplies of strategic raw materials, aggregate demand, and connect industrial off-takers with global suppliers and financial institutions.

DG GROW and DG ENER will host a technical workshop to explain the mechanism’s features, the registration process, and the details of the first diversification round scheduled for March.
